GoFundMe Page for Family of 2-Year-Old Who Drowned in Chappaqua Sunday
The community in Mount Kisco where his family lives has rallied around.
CHAPPAQUA, NY — The staff of Pinecrest Manor has set up a GoFundMe page on behalf of the family of the 2-year-old who drowned in a pond April 16 in Chappaqua. Matias Lenis-Gomez was found unresponsive in a small pond on Whippoorwill Road, where his family was visiting Easter Sunday. He had been reported missing at 5:41 p.m.
The Mount Kisco and Chappaqua communities are rallying around the family, which lives at the housing complex in Mount Kisco. In one day, the fundraising site raised $9,395 of its $10,000 goal.
Matias Lenis- Gomez was a 2 year old little boy who tragically died on Easter Sunday. He was a beautiful little boy, full of life, and always had a wonderful smile on his face. The Pinecrest Manor Community is pulling together to assist this family finanically.
