One of Westchester’s newest fitness studios, NextBarre of Mount Kisco, was recently named as the grand prize winner for a national competition featuring beauty and fitness related businesses from all over the United States.

A total of nine businesses were honored from more than 100 who entered in three categories. This included Starting Strong, for businesses open for less than one year, Becoming Established, challenging existing business to grow overall revenue and Embracing Technology, for business who saw the biggest increase in number of services booked through the MindBody software.

Mount Kisco resident Heather Queiroz was inspired to bring NextBarre to the area after taking classes in California and experiencing changes in her body that she had not found with any other workout.

“While winning the contest was a wonderful surprise and a great honor, it’s been even more exciting to see the business grow so much in the short time we’ve been open,” said Queiroz, who is also a Master Instructor. “We have seen a steady increase in month over month sales and have been able to respond to the demand for more classes while also growing our staff of fully trained and certified instructors to ensure we maintain a safe environment for our clients.”

NextBarre Mt. Kisco is located at 293 Lexington Ave.
