Mount Kisco Man Dies Competing in Long Island Triathlon
Local man dies during swimming portion of triathlong
A Mount Kisco man who was competing in a triathlon on Long Island this weekend died during the swimming portion of the event, according to WNBC News.
A lifeguard saw that Vincent Fleck, 69, was in distress during the swimming portion of the Smith Point Spring Triathlon in Suffolk County on Sunday. Fleck was taken out of the water on a rescue boat, where he was given first aid, but later died at a hospital.
