New Castle Readies For Memorial Day Parade

CHAPPAQUA, NY - The Town of New Castle's annual Memorial Day parade is scheduled for Monday, May 29.

The parade is set to start at 11 a.m., beginning at the Intersection of Route 117 and Ridgewood Terrace. It will then go up Route 117, head down King Street (Route 120), turn onto Memorial Circle and conclude in front of the Chappaqua train station.

New Castle's Memorial Day parade has served as the backdrop of both local and national news stories in previous years, as Bill and Hillary Clinton have marched in it. Whether the Clintons will march again this year is unknown, although their presence has historically not been noted in advance.
