New Neighbor Calls Cops On Early Riser: Police Blotter Mt. Kisco

MOUNT KISCO, NY —Here are some of the incidents to which Westchester County police responded in Mount Kisco last week.

Friday, Nov. 15 – 11:57 a.m. – A California man contacted Westchester County Police to seek assistance in finding his father’s car. The caller explained that his dad, who lives in the area, had taken ill while shopping in Mount Kisco the previous day and was taken by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital Center. Officers located the man’s car near Target on North Bedford Road and found it to be secure. The California resident advised he would make arrangement for a relative to retrieve it.

5:59 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to the Holiday Inn on Holiday Inn Drive on a report of yelling and screaming coming from one of the rooms. Officers found a woman who was bleeding from self-inflicted wounds and who was having an emotional crisis. The woman was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital Center for medical treatment and a mental health evaluation.

4:29 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Barker Street on a noise complaint. A resident there said he is regularly awakened by an upstairs neighbor who gets up early for work. The upstairs resident said he has lived in the building for many years, tries to be as quiet as possible and has never been the subject of any complaints by neighbors until this newest tenant moved in. The complainant was advised that the issue was not a police matter and that he should bring his concerns to building management.

Wednesday, Nov. 13 – 11:41 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Prospect Street to assist an elderly man who was injured in a fall. He was transported by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.

8:49 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to South Moger Avenue on a report of a domestic dispute occurring inside a store. The dispute was verbal in nature only and the two parties agreed to leave separately.

12:48 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Grove Street after a resident reported that he has been receiving threatening emails. Officers determined that the emails were an attempt to defraud the man of money and he was advised they were a scam.

Tuesday, Nov. 12 – 3:18 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to East Main Street on a report of a loud dispute between an employer and employee at a business that is closing. The employee was upset because he felt he was owed reimbursement for business expenses and the employer would not pay him. He was advised to pursue the matter in court and he agreed to leave the premises.

1:05 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Grove Street. A woman in the home said her husband was intoxicated and they had been arguing but the dispute was verbal in nature only.

Monday, Nov. 11 – 10:11 p.m. – A woman came to the County Police precinct on Green Street to report that she has been accused of texting and calling another’s woman’s husband. She told officers she had not done so and was concerned that the man’s wife would retaliate against her. She asked that a report be prepared to document her concerns.
