Obituary: Dr. Arthur T. Lyne of Millwood

Dr. Arthur T. Lyne, a resident of Millwood, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Dr. Lyne was born in the Bronx on June 8, 1934 and was the son of the late Arthur T. and Helen (Connolly) Lyne. He was 83.

Dr. Lyne was a graduate of Fordham University and received his Doctorate in Dentistry from Georgetown University. He had his dental practice first in Briarcliff and then in Ossining. He was a member of the Ossining Moose Lodge and the N.R.A. He married his wife Yolanda at St. Theresa’s Church in 1980.

Dr. Lyne is survived by his wife Yolanda; his three children Allan Frappolo, Helen (Ken Spencer), and Thomas (Patty Spillane) Lyne; and his granddaughter Charley Lyne.

Visiting hours were held Sunday. The funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday at St. Theresa’s Church in Briarcliff. Interment followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Dorsey Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
