Obituary: John DiDomenico Sr., 87, Of Millwood

John Joseph DiDomenico Sr., 87, a resident of Millwood, passed away Saturday April 20, 2019. John was born in Ballston Spa, New York, May 17, 1931, and was the son of the late Antonio and Tillie (Cardiero) DiDomenico. John was a retired director with the IBM Corporation in Westchester.

John was a graduate of Siena College. He was a very active member at St. Theresa’s Church in Briarcliff Manor.

Mr. DiDomenico is survived by his son John, Jr. (Sandy); his two grandchildren Nicole (Nate) and Lauren (Christopher) Searl; he had two great grandchildren Domenic and Andrew; his sister Rose (George) Begnal; his nieces Barbara Scovalti and Nancy Begnal; great niece Lisa (Steven) VanderVort and great nephew Michael (Jennifer) Scovalti and family and the whole Leather. He was predeceased by his wife Alice Marie (Leather) who passed away Oct. 27, 1999.

Visiting hours will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday April 26 at Dorsey Funeral Home, Inc. in Ossining. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Theresa’s Church, 1394 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor. The interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
