Storm Brings Hudson Valley School Schedule Changes: UPDATE

The pending storm, with its threat of snow, sleet and rain, is the cause of some early announcements about early school dismissals.

Bedford: HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE AT 11:20, ELEMENTARY AT 12:30 AND ALL AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES CANCELLED.

Blind Brook: MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL AT 12:50PM, AND RIDGE STREET ELEMENTARY AT 1:30PM

Brewster: HH Wells Middle School dismisses at 10:10 AM Brewster High School dismisses at 10:15 AM CV Starr Intermediate School dismisses at 11:15 AM JFK Elementary dismisses at 11:25 AM

Briarcliff Manor: HS/MS dismiss at 11:33 and Todd at 12:30 PM. All after school activities have been cancelled.

Carmel: CHS 10:15,GFMS 11:05,Elementary 12:00,All afterschool activities canceled Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Luncheons postponed

Chappaqua: The Chappaqua Central School District will dismiss early due to the pending storm. Greeley High School will be dismissed at 12:10PM, the Middle Schools at 12noon and the Elementary Schools will dismiss at 1PM. All after-school and evening activities are cancelled. The Greeley musical will be rescheduled to 2pm on Saturday. (Tonight's tickets will honored on Saturday.)

Clarkstown: 10:00 AM Clarkstown High School North, Clarkstown High School South. 10:30 AM Laurel Plains Elementary, Link Elementary, New City Elementary, Strawtown Elementary, Birchwood School. 11:00 AM Bardonia Elementary, Lakewood Elementary, Little Tor Elementary, West Nyack Elementary, Woodglen Elementary. 11:30 AM,Felix Festa Middle School. 12:00 PM CCSD Childcare & Early Learning Program in Congers. All building permits and after school and evening activities are cancelled, including the Community Learning Center, Festaville, Clarkstown Family Resource Center, YMCA and JCCY after school programs.

Croton-Harmon: PVC and CHHS will be dismissed at 11 AM. CET will be dismissed at 11:45 AM.

Dobbs Ferry Schools: All after-school and evening activities are canceled Thursday. The Springhurst After-School Program is canceled for Thursday afternoon.

East Ramapo: High schools 12:00pm Chestnut and Pomona 1:40pm

Goshen Central Schools - Early Dismissal: High School/Middle School 12:00 G.I.S./S.A.S. 1:15 outside district 11:30

Greenburgh-Graham Union Free School District - Early Dismissal: 12:00 PM

Hastings-on-Hudson Schools: All after-school and evening activities are canceled Thursday. HHS & FMS will dismiss at 2:45 p.m. Hillside at 2:55 p.m.

Hayes Day School - Early Dismissal: Releasing all students at 1:00 pm

Irvington Schools: All after-school and evening activities are canceled Thursday. Dismissal will be at normal times.

Katonah-Lewisboro Schools - Early dismissal: JJMS and JJHS will dismiss at 12 p.m. Elementary schools will dismiss at 1 p.m. All after-school and evening activities, including JJMS play and BOE meeting, are cancelled.

Lakeland: HIGH SCHOOL AT 12, ELEMENTARY 1, MIDDLE AT 2 AND NO P.M. PRE-K AND NO AFTER SCHOOL OR EVENING ACTIVITIES AND BOARD OF ED MEETING WILL BE RESCHEDULED.

Mamaroneck Schools: All after-school and evening activities are canceled Thursday.

Middletown School District: All after school activities are cancelled

Minisink Valley Central School District - Early Dismissal: Middle School - 11 AM High School - 11:15 AM Intermediate and Elementary Schools - 12:15 PM: All after school activities are cancelled

Monroe-Woodbury Central School District - Early Dismissal: High School 10:30 a.m. Middle School 11:37 a.m. K-1 11:45 a.m. 2-5 12:45 a.m.

Nanuet: Academy/Barr Middle School will dismiss at 10:00 am. High School will dismiss at 10:45 am. Miller and Highview schools will dismiss at 11:35am. All after-school and evening activities have been cancelled. This includes the sports, PTA, Continuing Education programs and parent/teacher conferences in all buildings. There will be no late buses. Nanuet Family Resource Center Pre-K will follow the following schedule: AM Pre-K will be dismissed at 12:00, PM Pre-K have been cancelled, full Day Pre-K will be dismissed at 12:30pm. Also, please note that all Family Resource Center Programs: ELO (Extended Learning Opportunities) at Miller, Highview and Barr, School Age Care program (SAC) at Miller and Highview, and the Middle School After School Program (MAP) at Barr have been cancelled.

Newburgh Enlarged City School District including S - Early Dismissal: SMS-HMS-ALL NFA CAMPUSES will dismiss at noon GAMS-MH-THA-VG WILL dismiss at 1 p.m. BALM-FOS-GLA-HOH-NW-PRE-K@GAMS will dismiss at 2 p.m.

New Rochelle Schools: All afternoon and evening activities are cancelled for Thursday.

North Salem: 12 NOON FOR NORTH SALEM MIDDLE SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL. NO AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES AND NO PARENT CONFERENCES AT THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

Nyack: High School- 11am; Middle School- 11:45am; Elem. Schools - 12:30pm

Ossining: All AMD and OHS students will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m. and all elementary students will be dismissed at 1:10 p.m. Additionally, all afterschool activities will be canceled.

Pearl River: Elementary Schools at 12:00 PM. High School 1:10 PM. Middle School: 1:15 PM. All after school programs are cancelled. Elementary School Parents - As a reminder, today's parent teacher conferences are rescheduled for Thursday, November 29th, which will now be a 1/2 day for all elementary students. HS Senior Parents – An additional message will be sent to you regarding the departure time for the Senior Disney trip.

Peekskill: NO PM PRE-K AND ALL AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES CANCELLED

Pleasantville: BRS at 12:15, MIDDLE SCHOOL at 12:30, HIGH SCHOOL at 12:45. ALL AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED.

Port Chester Schools: All after-school and evening activities are canceled Thursday.

Putnam Valley: Putnam Valley Middle School and High School Will be dismissing at 12:30pm. Elementary School at 1:30pm

Rockland BOCES: All programs will dismiss at 11 a.m. NO AFTERNOON Career and Tech programs in West Nyack.

Rye Schools: All after-school and evening activities are canceled Thursday.

Scarsdale schools: All after school activities and events will be cancelled in order to ensure the safe passage of students and staff. There will be no late buses provided to any location, including private schools. Please make arrangements for your child to go home on the regularly scheduled bus or to have them picked up at the end of the normal school day.

Somers Central School District - Early Dismissal: High School 12:40 Middle School 1:40 Primrose Elem. 1:30 Intermediate 2:30 Afterschool/Evening Activities cancelled.

South Orangetown: EARLY DISMISSAL SCHEDULE.. YMCA AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM AND ALL AFTERNOON AND EVENING EVENTS INCLUDING CONTINUING EDUCATION ARE CANCELLED.

Tuckahoe Schools: All after-school and evening activities are canceled Thursday. All WEC parent-teacher conferences scheduled for 3 p.m or later are canceled and will be rescheduled by the teacher. TASC will also close at 3 p.m. Thursday.

Warwick Valley Central School District - Early Dismissal: H.S. AND M.S. AT NOON... ELEM. AT 1 PM SPECIAL ED PROGRAMS AT 11:30

White Plains Schools: All after-school and evening activities cancelled for Thursday.

Yorktown: YHS at 12:30; MESMS at 1:15; Crompond 1:45 and Brookside and Mohansic at 2:15 p.m.
