Republicans Endorse New Castle Town Judge Sorkin For Re-Election

The elections for Town Judge will be held this coming November.

From New Castle Town Republican Committee: The New Castle Town Republican Committee announced today that it has endorsed Judge Noah Sorkin for re-election as Town Judge this coming November.

Town GOP Chair Steven Schoenfeld stated: “We are pleased to place Judge Sorkin on our ballot line in November. He is a fair-minded and able Judge who has served our town with distinction. We believe that town elections are about what is best for our town and its residents and that we should put our town’s local interests ahead of partisan politics. Just as we endorsed Judge Krause for re-election two years ago, we now endorse Judge Sorkin.”

Stu Miller, a New Castle Town Prosecutor who ran against Sorkin for the Town Judgeship on the Republican line 4 years ago said: “I am happy to hear that the Town Republicans have endorsed Judge Sorkin. I have spent over three years in the role of Town Prosecutor since losing to Noah in 2013. I find him to be a hard-working and fair to all. He is a great asset to our Town.”
