New York state officials have restricted travel on major roadways during the Wednesday nor'easter.
The New York State Thruway Authority put out an advisory Tuesday evening: "Heavy snow expected from NYC to Syracuse on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Motorists are advised to avoid travel, if possible."
New York has closed Interstate 84 from Connecticut to Pennsylvania for commercial vehicles. This includes tractor trailers, box trucks, high profile trucks and buses.
