BREWSTER, NY — Hope you enjoyed the last couple of days, because we have some unsettled weather for Friday and going into the weekend we can look forward to the return of hot and humid air — just in time for Father’s Day. There’s a chance for scattered showers Friday, but temps will only get up to the upper 60s. For Saturday, the high jumps to the upper 70s; for Sunday, the low-80s.
“We won’t see a lot of sun (if any) Friday, but it doesn’t look like a washout either,” said Hudson Valley Weather’s Bill Potter.

“As we push into the weekend… it’s more of the same. Saturday and Sunday look like to be rather cloudy, with a moist SE flow off the Atlantic. That will tend to keep clouds and spot showers in the Hudson Valley for a good part of the weekend,” he said.
“The best way to describe it is that the weather won’t be ideal… but it won’t be ‘terrible’ either,” Potter said.

AccuWeather Meteorologist Renee Duff said air conditioners and fans will need to be used in earnest as the temps and humidity creep back up.
“The climbing temperatures and humidity levels, which will be more typical of mid-July, will put additional strain on those who are laboring outdoors or do not have air conditioning,” she said.
