Service for Mary Ellen "Marie" Barrett

Mary Ellen "Marie" Barrett passed away April 10, 2016, in Waco, Texas. She was 81.

Marie was born in Mount Kisco, New York, on August 12, 1934. Her parents, Timothy and Mary Barrett of Mount Kisco, and her brother Timothy of Waco, Texas, precede her in death.

Marie was a longtime resident of Mount Kisco and employee of the New York Telephone Company. She retired from the company in 1991. A beloved aunt to her niece and nephews, an active golfer, bowler, and volunteer throughout most of her life, Marie had numerous friends in the Mount Kisco area and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She will be greatly missed.

Marie is survived by her niece, Mary Barrett Dwyer and her husband, Donald, of Waco; her nephews, Tim Barrett and his wife, Sherri, of Woodway, Texas, and Kevin Barrett and his wife, Kathy, of Dallas, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Mount Kisco on July 28, 2016, at 11:30. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
