
Joseph V. Rossi, 83, a lifetime Mt. Kisco resident died peacefully on February 21, 2015.
He was born in Mt. Kisco to Alfonso and Clelia (Pietrobono) Rossi on February 14, 1932. He attended Mt. Kisco schools where he played on both the baseball and football teams, and was a member of the class of 1952.
Joseph proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1954 through 1955. Along with his brother Albert, Joseph owned and operated Rossi Bros. Inc. for over 40 years in Mt. Kisco. For many years, he and his brothers owned and raced many Standardbred Horses at various tracks throughout the Tri State Area.

Beloved husband of the late Jean (Coleman) Rossi. Devoted father of Janet (Joe) Maurantonio. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas Joseph Maurantonio. Loving brother of James (Lenore) Rossi and the late Albert L. Rossi. Fond brother-in-law of Dorothy Rossi. Also survivied by many neices, nephews and cousins in the U.S., England and Italy.
Friends may call at the Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main Street, Mt. Kisco, N.Y. on Monday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Francis Cemetery.
