Shocking Overnight Temps: Mount Kisco's Weekend Weather

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Lows drop into the mid-50s Friday night. That'll be a shock to the system! Then we'll get a partly cloudy day or so before storms hit us again.

"The weather does improve a bit for the weekend, things should dry out," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather on Facebook.

Now, about Florence.

"The models have very little agreement on where the hurricane is going to go," Potter said, noting "fear-mongering" in several media outlets despite the fact that it's almost seven days away. "The storm does need to be monitored," he said.

Here's what the National Weather Service forecasts for the weekend in northern Westchester:

• Tonight-Cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain. Lows in the upper 50s. East winds around 5 mph, becoming north after midnight.
• Saturday-Mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming partly sunny. Less humid with highs in the lower 70s. North winds 5 to 10 mph.
• Saturday Night-Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 50s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
• Sunday-Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain. Highs in the mid 60s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.
• Sunday Night-Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of rain. Lows in the mid 50s.
