Snow may begin to fall during the Friday morning commute, but the bulk of the snow will come in the afternoon and through the evening, the NWS says.
Hazardous travel conditions are expected due to reduced visibilities and snow covered roads.
There may be a brief window during the late afternoon and evening where some areas could see snow, sleet and freezing rain.
The snow should end before Saturday morning, which will bring partly sunny skies and a high near 42 for the second day of spring.
