Stop & Shop Celebrates Grand Reopening of Mt. Kisco Store

Remodeled Store Features a Fresh New Look, Expanded Produce & Natural Food Sections, Plus More

Stop & Shop, a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, will unveil its newly remodeled store in Mt. Kisco, New York, located at 195 N. Bedford Street at a Grand Reopening celebration beginning Friday December 11, 2020. The updates to be showcased at the store’s grand reopening are centered around delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient options that make grocery shopping easier for local customers.

The Grand Reopening events will reveal the store’s newly expanded produce section with more local and organic offerings, increased plant-based foods, sushi prepared fresh in store, an expanded beer section, a revamped deli department with new grab-and-go hot food options to make meals and entertaining easier, and enhanced bakery, deli, and seafood departments. Customers who visit the store on December 11th, 12th and 13th for its Grand Reopening weekend may enjoy giveaways, samples, and a pre-packaged slice of celebratory cake to take home, while supplies last.

“We’re excited to freshen up our look and in-store experience for customers here in Mt. Kisco,” said Anthony Reda, Store Manager of the Mt. Kisco Stop & Shop. “We’ve added more of what our local customers want – fresh produce, specialty cheeses, meat and seafood – plus lots of convenient meal solutions. We are also proud to now offer Same Day Online Pickup, helping customers get their groceries quickly and conveniently in between Zoom meetings and remote learning. We are committed to making our customers’ shopping experience easy and we look forward to serving the Mt. Kisco community through the busy holiday season and for many years to come.”

To celebrate Stop & Shop’s commitment to the community, the store will also be donating $1,000 and an additional $500 in product to the Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry. The donation will support the food pantry in its continued efforts to combat food insecurity and hunger across the Mt. Kisco community. The need across Mt. Kisco and Westchester has increased as a result of COVID-19, and this donation will help to ensure that families in need will have access to food to enjoy the upcoming holiday season.
