MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the recent calls to which Westchester County police responded in Mount Kisco.

Friday, Jan. 31 – 2:13 p.m. – A rental car company employee requested that Westchester County Police accompany him to a location on Gatto Drive to recover an overdue rental vehicle. The employee was concerned that a confrontation would occur if he went on his own. The vehicle was recovered without incident.

7:38 a.m. – Officers served a Westchester County Family Court-issued Temporary Order of Protection to a Kensington Way resident. The court order bars the resident from having any contact with a person named in the protection order.

Thursday, Jan. 30 – 12:18 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Thorn Avenue on a report that an elderly man had fallen while getting out of his car. Officers made contact with the man who said he was not injured in the fall and did not need any medical attention.

11:41 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a business in the village after staff became suspicious of paperwork that had been filed in connection with a judgment against a former employee. Officers determined that the paperwork was from the Town of Greenburgh constable and was legitimate. The agency was advised to let the constable know that the person named in the personal judgment no longer works there.

Wednesday, Jan. 29 – 10:22 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Woodcrest Lane on a report of smoke in the hallway. The Mount Kisco Fire Department also responded and determined that food burning on a stove had caused the condition.

Monday, Jan. 27 – 9:34 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Amuso Drive on a complaint that several apartments were without heat and hot water. Officers located a maintenance staff member who said that he was aware of the problem and that it was being addressed.

9:07 p.m. -- Westchester County Police arrested a West Main Street resident following a domestic dispute at his home. Lenin Mendoza-Mejia, 20, was charged with Assault 3 rd Degree,a misdemeanor. He is accused of pushing, restraining and biting another person on the neck during the dispute.

Sunday, Jan. 26 – 8:40 a.m. – A village resident turned in a wallet he found on the street on Byram Lake Road. An officer was able to return it to its owner.
