School officials informed the community via a letter Wednesday.
MOUNT KISCO, NY — Officials in the Bedford Central School District said Wednesday that an employee at the Mount Kisco Elementary School was diagnosed with active tuberculosis. The employee is not at school and is being treated, officials said. The employee is expected to make a full recovery.
In a letter to the community, Dr. Joel Adelberg, the acting superintendent of schools, said the safety and welfare of the students and staff is the district's highest priority.
"Our school and facilities remain safe for all students, staff and visitors," he said.
