Wallet Stolen At Health Club: Police Blotter Mount Kisco

Here are some of the incidents to which Westchester County police responded in Mount Kisco recently.

Friday, Aug. 2 – 11:57 a.m. – A village resident reported that the license plate on her motorcycle was missing and that she was unsure when it might have been lost or stolen. An officer prepared paperwork on the missing plate for her to bring to DMV to obtain a new plate.
10:06 a.m. – A business owner on South Moger Avenue reported that he discovered that an oily substance on the door knob and locks on his business. Officers determined there were no signs of an attempted entry and advised the man to check with his landlord to see if any maintenance work had been done on the locks.
3:55 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to an activated burglar alarm at the Mount Kisco Post Office. The alarm had been set off in error by an employee.
Thursday, Aug. 1 – 9:33 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Diplomat Towers to make a welfare check on a man in his 80s at the request of a relative. The man said he was feeling ill and he agreed to be taken to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.
7:24 p.m. – A patron of a health club on North Bedford Road reported that someone stole his wallet from a locker while he was working out. The locker had not been secured with a lock. The wallet contained about $300 in cash and personal identification.
Tuesday, July 30 – 7:49 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Kiscona Road after a man fell and complained of pain. Officers assisted the man into a chair and Westchester EMS responded, but the man declined medical attention.
Monday, July 29 – 10:33 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Moore Avenue after a motorist reported that his car was damaged by a hit-and-run driver a few minutes earlier. The motorist said he was waiting to make a turn at Main Street and Maple Avenue when a red Mazda struck the side of his car and then fled the scene.
