MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the recent incidents to which Westchester County Police responded in Mount Kisco.
Friday, Aug. 9 – 2:26 p.m. – A village resident reported that his car was damaged by a hit-and-run driver while it was parked on South Moger Avenue.
12:52 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a business in the 100 block of East Main Street on an activated burglar alarm. It was determined that the system had malfunctioned.
9:35 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to West Street on a report of an odor of gas inside a residence. The Mount Kisco Fire Department and Con Edison also responded.
8:37 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Lexington Avenue on a report of an injured raccoon in the roadway. The animal was deceased and was subsequently removed by animal control.
Thursday, Aug. 8 – 8:18 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Mountain Avenue after some power lines came down. The Mount Kisco Fire Department and the Highway Department assisted in closing off the area until Con Edison arrived.
5:02 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Rite Aid on South Moger Avenue on a report that some youths were possibly disturbing customers there. The youths moved on upon an officer’s arrival. Wednesday, Aug. 7 – 3:41 p.m. – A resident of Stewart Place reported that someone entered her car overnight and rummaged through it. Nothing of value had been left in the car and nothing was missing, according to the owner.
11:31 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to the Mount Kisco railroad station to assist MTA Police with carrying an elderly woman up the stairs. The station’s elevator was out of service due to a power outage and the woman was stuck on the platform. MTA Police secured a specialized chair utilized by EMS personnel so officers could safely transport the woman up the stairs.

Tuesday, Aug. 6 – 11:34 p.m. -- A resident of Spring Street reported that a passenger in a car sprayed water at him as he walked near Spring Street and Moore Avenue. The man told officers that a black sedan pulled up near him and the front seat passenger sprayed him.
