Freeport School Election Results Are In
Find out if the budget passed and who won seats on the Board of Education.
The results are in for the Freeport School District, and the budget passed.
It was supported by the community 638 to 176.
Board of Education trustee Ernest J. Knight Jr. ran unopposed, and received 711 votes.

The community supported the district's ballot initiative to spend money from an existing capital reserve fund, 662 yes to 121 no.
And the Freeport Public Library's budget also passed, 631 to 166.
