Freeport Woman Robbed In Home Invasion

Police say five men broke into her home and held her at gunpoint while robbing her.

FREEPORT, NY — A woman was robbed in a home invasion in Freeport Thursday night, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

According to police, five men in dark clothes broke into a home on Johnson Place at 11:38 p.m. One of them pulled out a handgun, and the 56-year-old woman in the home was forced to the floor.

The men demanded cash, and then fled the scene with the money.
