Jersey Mike's Bringing Its Subs To Nassau With Two New Locations

Both locations are holding fundraisers to benefit local organizations. And you can get a free sub.

Jersey Mike's Subs is expanding its nation-wide reach into Nassau County this month when it opens two new locations, one in Freeport and one in Uniondale across from Hofstra University.

The Uniondale location, which is located at 988 Hempstead Turnpike, will be holding a grand opening celebration and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, March 29 through April 2. The fundraiser will benefit the Hempstead Boys and Girls Club.

The store has distributed coupons throughout the community for free subs. People just need to have a coupon and make a minimum donation of $2 to the Boys and Girls Club.

"It’s hard to find a great sub sandwich these days and Jersey Mike’s can fill that void," said Jim Denburg, the franchise owner, who plans to open five Jersey Mike’s locations in the area. "I think Long Island will embrace the quality of Jersey Mike’s fantastic subs."

The Freeport store, located at 51 East Merrick Road, is holding a similar fundraiser, which is running now through March 26. People with coupons can come to the restaurant for a free sub, providing they make a minimum donation of $2 to support the Freeport Red Devil Boosters.
