Baldwin, New York – On Thursday, December 14, 2017 LIAACC will be installing three new
board of directors members at it annual holiday celebration. The Installation and celebration will be held at Pop O’ Paint Gallery located at 822 Merrick Ave. Baldwin, New York 11510. The celebration will include VIP Reception Tickets and General Admission Tickets. At the VIP reception guest will be allowed to
network with various leaders and the leadership of LIAACC.

Nassau County Director of the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce. She is the CEO of a boutique recruiting firm, where she provides human capital for companies nationwide, from Healthcare, Engineering, Finance, and IT industries. Valerie is also VP Membership of Uniondale Community Land Trust, Inc., a not-for-profit organization whose mission includes community renewal, revitalization, integration, and empowerment.

About: Danielle Donaphin Appointed LIAACC’s Suffolk County Director - Danielle Donaphin of Bay Shore has been appointed Suffolk County director of the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce. Danielle operates her own business, Donaphin Career Enrichment Services. Her business focuses on enriching her clients’ potential for greater career opportunities. Danielle’s work in her business and the community was recognized by the Suffolk County Executive’s office in March of this year, and she was the recipient of the National Women’s History Month award.

In her role as LIAACC’s Suffolk County director, Danielle will be responsible for identifying collaborative opportunities to advance the goals and values of the chamber, while increasing LIAACC’s presence and providing opportunities for education and knowledge for small business owners within Suffolk County.

Elizabeth Wellington has been appointed as Nassau County Deputy Director - Mrs. Elizabeth Wellington will be responsible for helping to provide creative innovation solutions to increase community involvement via
increasing grassroot efforts to render knowledge, and education for small business owners within the Chamber. She also serves as a Co-Chair for former Hempstead Village Justice Judge Maxine S. Broderick, 2017 Nassau County Board of Election Campaign. She has experienced in both finance and general operational realms and has spent nearly a decade working in the areas of advertising, education, and

investigation Industries. Prior to joining Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, for the past 5 years, she had supported the Brooklyn community as a coordinator for the New York City Board of Elections, as well as, by attending various political events given by Borough President Eric Adams, Mayor
De Blasio, and the New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer.

Mrs. Wellington graduated from Nassau Community College and John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She has a B.S in Criminal Justice and Master’s degree in Public Administration with specialization in Human Resources/Management & Operations. She is married to Antonio Wellington, CEO/President of Wellie the
Transporter, LLC; and has one son Stephen Wellington, who also graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
