Long Island At Risk For Severe Storms This Week
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the region.

The National Weather Service has issued the following hazardous weather outlook for Long Island:
There is potential for thunderstorm development ahead of an approaching cold front Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening. Some of these storms could reach severe intensity. Additionally, there is a threat for flash flooding if multiple storms move over the same area. At this point though, there is low predictability on how widespread the severe and flash flood threat will be.
Some of the storms could produce small hail, gusty winds and heavy rain, the NWS says.
Tuesday is the focus at the moment for severe weather potential, but the entire week is looking downright nasty. There are decent chances of rain every single day this week on Long Island.
