Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?

Mileo: UnderCut Junk Removal was established for business in Long Island in 2017.

Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?

Mileo: I saw the opportunity to found UnderCut Junk Removal when I realized how difficult it is for many to do the job themselves. We take that stress off our customers.

Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger, what would you say?

Mileo: “Never cutting corners, just costs!”

Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced in your job?

Mileo: The job can become difficult when we are faced with new challenges. For example, we have handled the removal of heavy equipment and serviced homes affected by extreme hoarding on short notice. We always rise up to meet these challenges with our strong and innovative team.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?

Mileo: The most satisfying part of our job is seeing the looks on the customers’ faces after we remove their junk.

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?

Mileo: Undercut Junk Removal differs from the competition in the individualized service we provide. We provide individualized rates to best meet the needs of our customers. We proudly provide discounts to veterans and senior citizens in the community. We also donate and recycle whenever possible!

Patch: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given when it comes to success?

Mileo: The best piece of advice I’ve received when it comes to business is to understand that without the customer, there is no business. UnderCut Junk Removal places the customer first because we value their business.

Patch: Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on that you’re extra excited about?

Mileo: Our team was inspired to register a nonprofit to facilitate the distribution of the large amount of usable items we receive through our junk removal service throughout Nassau and Suffolk County.

Mileo: While UnderCut Junk Removal does not host events, we regularly engage with the Long Island Community through our efforts to give back.
