Adelphi Hosts Annual Reading of 'A Christmas Carol'

The event, held at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, is free and open to everyone.

Adelphi University brings Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol to life with a dramatic reading of the classic at the Cathedral of the Incarnation on Saturday, Dec. 15. This holiday event is free and fun for the entire family.

The annual holiday event will begin at 11 a.m. at the cathedral, located at 50 Cathedral Ave. in Garden City. Attendees are welcome to park on the cathedral grounds. Shuttles to and from the Adelphi PAC will be available before and after the performance.

Nonperishable food items may be donated at the event to benefit the Mary Brennan Interfaith Nutrition Network Food Kitchen in Hempstead for those in need.

Admission is free. Information is available at the Lucia and Steven N. Fischer Box Office at 516-877-4000 or by emailing boxoffice@adelphi.edu. Regular office hours are Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. and the box office is open two hours before most scheduled performances. Ticket sales and additional information are also available online.
