Mark your calendar for the following Garden City Board of Education work session and 2014-2015 school budget meetings:

• Work Session: Tuesday, Feb. 4, 8:15 p.m. at Garden City High School. The topic will include a Common Core presentation

• Budget Work Session #1: Monday, Feb. 10, overview of Superintendent’s Budget and Revenues

• Budget Work Session #2: Tuesday, Feb. 25, All Non-Instructional Areas/Administrative and Capital Components

• Budget Work Session #3: Tuesday, March 4, Instructional Components I 

• Budget Work Session #4: Tuesday, March 11, Instructional Components II 

• Budget Work Session #5: Wednesday, April 9, Additional Budget Review (if needed)

• Budget Adoption: Wednesday, April 23

• Budget Hearing: Tuesday, May 13

• Budget Vote: Tuesday, May 20, 6 a.m. – 10 p.m. in the Garden City High School gym

*2014-2015 budget meetings will be held at 8:15 p.m. at Garden City High School
