Brand New Barbecue Joint Opens In Nassau
Smōk-hau̇s features a new take on traditional slow-cooked American barbecue.

Long Island's newest barbecue restaurant, Smōk-hau̇s, just opened its doors in Garden City on Tuesday, and is already serving up delicious food.
The restaurant is a casual dining establishment that features "low and slow" cooked American barbecue food, paired with international fare, according to its website.
The restaurant is located at 7 12th St. in Garden City, across the street from the village's Sears.

The menu at Smōk-hau̇s is varied. There are a la carte meats available, as well as individual options. Guests pick a meat -- like pulled pork, chopped beef, shredded brisket, grilled chicken or even beef and lamb gyro or falafel -- and can have it served in a sandwich, in a burrito, in a pita or over rice. There are also wings, ribs and sides.
Smōk-hau̇s is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It is closed on Sundays. For more information, visit the restaurant's website.
