Joanne Adams, Jackie Goode Co-Chairing 2014 Pineapple Ball

On behalf of the Garden City Chamber of Commerce, directors Joanne Adams and Jackie Goode are delighted to co-chair the 12th Annual Pineapple Ball.

The 2014 honorees are:

• Citizen of the Year: The Garden City Turkey Trot Race Committee
• Community Achievement Award: Ann Sullivan, GCHS Swim Team Coach
• Businessperson of the Year: Lisa Smith, proprietor of Coquette
• President’s Award: Robert Schoelle, Jr., Village Administrator

A portion of the proceeds from the Pineapple Ball will benefit the Garden City Chamber of Commerce Foundation whose mission it is to provide an annual scholarship to a deserving Garden City High School senior, and also to assist families in financial need within the Garden City community.

Meet the honorees at the second annual Pineapple Ball Pre-Party to be held at POSH at the Garden City Hotel Monday, Dec. 2, 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from this event will be allocated toward efforts to refurbish the historic Garden City toll lodge.
