Fire Destroys Hempstead Home

HEMPSTEAD, NY — A fire destroyed a home in Hempstead Wednesday morning.

The call came in around 11 a.m. for a fire at a home on Terrace Avenue, near Bedell Street.

Multiple fire departments responded and were eventually able to get the blaze under control, but it destroyed the home.
