The GRAMMY Foundation has named Garden City High School a semifinalist in the GRAMMY Signature Schools program for the third consecutive year, school district officials announced.
Garden City High School is one of only 100 public schools to be named in the nation.
District officials congratulate Dr. Nina Prasso, coordinator of Music and the Arts, the music teachers and Garden City’s young musicians on the designation.
The GRAMMY Foundation will announce the finalist Signature Schools in March 2014. Selectees will receive monetary grants up to $15,000.
