LI Man On Bail For Drug Charges Charged With Selling Drugs: NCPD
Police say Romaine Robinson, who was arrested in May on a list of drug and assault charges, was arrested again for selling drugs.

HEMPSTEAD, NY — Two Hempstead men were arrested Thursday night after Nassau County police say they were selling drugs in the village.
According to police, Narcotics Vice Squad detectives were conducting an investigation in Hempstead and identified the two men as suspects. Police say they were found sitting in a 2006 Audi parked at the intersection of Fulton Avenue and Surrey Len.
Police arrested Romaine Robinson, 25, of MacDonald Street, Hempstead, and a 24-year-old Hempstead man, without incident.

Robinson is charged with four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The other man was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Robinson is scheduled to be arraigned today. The other man was issued an appearance ticket.

According to court records, Robinson was out on bail for another narcotics case. That incident occurred on May 1. Police say that detectives tried to pull Robinson over while he was driving a 2011 Porsche in Oceanside, but he fled. He was later located on Mahland Place, where he backed his car up into a detective's car, police said.
Police say Robinson refused to comply with officers' orders and struggled when they tried to place him under arrest. Two officers were injured.
In that case, Robinson was charged with two counts of third-degree possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, fourth- and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, four counts of second-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, tampering with physical evidence and resisting arrest.
Robinson is currently being held on $50,000 bail, which has not yet been posted, according to court records.
