Long Island's First Lands' End Store Opening In Garden City
The store is holding a grand opening celebration this weekend, with special events and giveaways for customers.

Clothing retailer Lands' End will be opening its first Long Island store in Garden City this weekend, and is holding special events for shoppers to celebrate.
The new store, located at The Gallery at Westbury Plaza in Garden City, will hold its grand opening on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by some special events, including refreshments, giveaways and more.
“We’re so excited to join the Westbury community and grow our presence in New York with our first company-operated store on Long Island,” said Claudia Mazo, senior vice president of retail for Lands’ End. “With the holidays just around the corner, we look forward to celebrating with the community and making holiday shopping easier for families in the area.”

The new store features Lands’ End’s latest apparel and accessories for women, men and kids in regular, plus and petite sizes.
The public is invited to join Lands’ End in celebration of the new store during a grand opening on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The weekend will kick off with a ribbon cutting on Saturday at 10 a.m. Additional activities throughout the weekend include:

- A holiday-themed photo station featuring an animated photo booth and festive props.
- A prize wheel shoppers can spin to win Lands’ End prizes and coupons.
- The first 100 guests to spend $100 during the grand opening will receive a free Lands’ End canvas tote.
- Light refreshments will be available inside the store.
