Mangano Honors Garden City Resident Maureen Regan

Medical Corp. Reservist Maureen Regan of Garden City was recently recognized for going "above and beyond the call of duty" to provide medical care to county residents in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano presented Regan with a citation, stating, "We owe a debt of gratitude to these professional volunteers who often left their own devastated homes to serve county residents.”

Nassau County Department of Health Director Ann DeSimone and Nassau County Commissioner of Health Dr. Lawrence Eisenstein were also on hand for the honors.
