Nassau Motorcyclist Dies After Crash With 16-Year-Old Driver
Police said the crash threw the man from his motorcycle and severely injured him. He died at the hospital.
GARDEN CITY PARK, NY — A man from Elmont was killed after he was involved in a crash with a 16-year-old driver in Garden City Park Monday night.
According to Nassau County police, Sedat Denizhan, 32, was driving a 2014 Ducati motorcycle east on Jericho Turnpike at the intersection of County Courthouse Road at 8:25 p.m. He was then involved in a crash with the teenager, who was driving a 2020 Jeep Wrangler west on Jericho Turnpike and made a left turn onto County Courthouse Road, police said.
The crash threw Denizhan from the motorcycle and he suffered multiple traumatic injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The teen and her 51-year-old mother suffered minor injuries. They remained at the scene and refused medical attention.
