Nassau Police Searching For Teen Missing Since October

Police say 13-year-old Melvin Suarez was last seen leaving his home in Hempstead on Oct. 15.

HEMPSTEAD, NY — The Nassau County Police Department is seeking the public's help to find a Hempstead teen that has been missing since October.

According to police, 13-year-old Melvin Suarez was last seen living his home in Hempstead at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 15.

Suarez is a Hispanic boy, 4 feet tall, 90 pounds, with black, blonde and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a gray sweater, black sweatpants and blue and white sneakers. His destination is unknown.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Missing Persons Squad at (516) 573-7347, or dial 911.
