NASSAU COUNTY, NY — Nassau County's NICE Bus is warning riders of possible delays and detours ahead of the snowstorm that will hit the area on Thursday.

Long Island is forecasted to receive four to eight inches of snow on Thursday and into Friday. Snow accumulations could create hazardous road conditions. Routes along the North Shore have been most-affected by snow in the past, NICE Bus said.

Riders are encouraged to regularly check with NICE Bus for the latest service changes. Updates are posted on the NICE Bus website, the GoMobile app alerts, and Transit App. Updates are also available on NICE Bus social media at Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
