Samsung To Open One Of Its First US Stores On Long Island

On Feb. 20, technology giant Samsung is planning to open three granded stores in the United States, and one of them will be located here on Long Island.

The Roosevelt Field Mall will be the home of the Samsung Experience store, along with locations in Glendale, California and Houston, Texas.

“Our new Samsung Experience Stores are spaces to experience and see Samsung technology brought to life, to empower people to do what they never thought was possible before” said YH Eom, president and CEO of Samsung Electronics America, in a release. “We want to build a ‘playground’ for Samsung fans — a place to learn about and try out all of the amazing new products we have to offer.”

Customers at the store will be able to see the latest Samsung products, the company said, get their devices repaired and also try out the latest hits in a gaming lounge.

Samsung is opening the stores on the same day the company is announcing its new line of products.
