SPLAT! The Pumpkin Drop Returns Demonstrating Gravity & Fun
Pumpkin Drop Returns to the Cradle of Aviation Museum for Safe Fun for the Whole Family

The Cradle of Aviation Museum is proud to announce the return of the Pumpkin Drop, on Saturday, November 7th from 11AM - 2pm, when museum visitors can drop their pumpkins from the museum’s second floor balcony and watch them go splat as gravity takes over and the pumpkins become a pile of pulp two floors below. It’s a great way to demonstrate the effects of gravity and a great opportunity to let off a little steam in a unique and memorable way for the whole family. The event is free with museum admission.
Visitors can bring their own pumpkins (BYOP) or toss of the museum’s pumpkins ($2 each while supplies last). After the drop, visitors can explore the museum’s eight galleries, journeying through over 100 years of air and space history, from kites and balloons to man’s first steps on the moon.
