Stop & Shop Celebrates Grand Reopening of New Hyde Park Store

Stop & Shop, a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, today unveiled its newly remodeled store in New Hyde Park, NY (653 Hillside Ave).

The store, which opened its doors in 2000, is now noticeably brighter and more modern. The store not only has a new look, but it also has new features that are centered around delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient options to make grocery shopping easier.

Highlights of the remodeled New Hyde Park store include:

· Stop & Shop Pickup - orders placed online at stopandshop.com can soon be picked up at the store from the comfort of your own car while a store associate delivers your order right to your trunk.

· Expanded produce, deli, and meat departments that feature a larger assortment of offerings

· Refreshed bakery department complete with delicious cakes, cupcakes and other treats

· Expanded beer section with great finds such as Bluepoint Brewery and Brooklyn Brewery

· New grab-and-go meal solutions including a new hot foods bar featuring freshly packed entrees and sides, as well as sushi made fresh in-store daily

· Upgraded self-checkout area for added convenience

· Organic and natural products integrated within the grocery aisles allowing customers to see all product options available

To celebrate the remodeled store, Stop & Shop will donate $1,000 in gift cards to the food pantry at Holy Spirit Social Ministry. Shoppers can also look forward to a weekend of giveaways and samples, March 5th-7th, while supplies last.
