Taste Peruvian Food This Weekend at the Cradle of Aviation

Get your tastebuds ready for this weekend’s Sumaq Peruvian Food Festival in Garden City.

More than 5,000 people are expected to descend upon the Cradle of Aviation for the outdoor festival, which will run Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

Sumaq, which translates to “delicious” in Quechua, will live up to its name as top Peruvian chefs infuse traditional Incan cooking with Spanish, African, Chinese, and Japanese flair.

Online advance tickets cost $15 for adults and $7 for children ages 2-12. At the door, tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for children. Museum members will get a discounted price at the box office only with $10 adult tickets and $6 children’s tickets.
