Thanksgiving Blood Drive at NCC
Donate the gift of life Thursday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the College Center Building.

Nassau Community College, in conjunction with Nassau University Medical Center, will hold a Thanksgiving blood drive Thursday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the College Center Building.
The drive reflects the college’s six times a year effort to encourage all able individuals to participate in this vital activity.
“Through our educational efforts to increase the number of blood donors, and our own contributions, the College hopes we will help meet a substantial level of the community's blood needs. We look forward to working in partnership with community residents in this much needed blood drive,” said Dr. Arthur Friedman, co-chair of the NCC Blood Drive Task Force.
Blood donors must be at least 17 years old and in good health. Donors should come with some photo identification and should not eat before donating. The donation process takes less than an hour; small snacks and refreshments will be served to donors.
Call Dr. Friedman at 572-7401 or Barbara Vollmer at 572-7883 to make an appointment or just stop in on Thursday.
NCC’s Thanksgiving blood drive is sponsored by the Phi Theta Kappa honor society (evening division), the Engineering Society of Nassau Community College and the Society of Women Engineers.
