Valley Stream Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint

A Valley Stream gas station was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night, according to Nassau County Police.

At 11:45 p.m., a man with a black handgun demanded cash from a clerk at BP Gas Station, located at 385 W. Merrick Rd., police said. The man made off with an unknown amount of money, cops said.

The clerk escaped uninjured, officials said.

The man was described as 5-foot-8, 20-25 years old, thin build, and was wearing a green t-shirt and camouflage baseball cap, authorities said.
