Whole Foods Planning New, Large Garden City Store: Report
The grocery chain is reported to be opening a 53,000-square-foot store in Garden City later this year.

GARDEN CITY, NY — A new, large Whole Foods may be coming to Garden City, according to reports.
According to Newsday, the grocery chain is planning on opening a new 53,000-square-foot store in the village, which is much larger than other Whole Foods stores in the area.
The store, at 897 E. Gate Boulevard, is being built on the site of a former Pepsi bottling plant, Newsday reported, and is scheduled to open later this year.
