WPOA Seeks Applicants for Village Trustee

The Western Property Owners' Association (WPOA) is seeking applicants for the position of village trustee, a two-year term beginning in April 2014.

Any interested resident of the western section of the village is urged to submit a letter of intent and a resume to: Jonathan Kashimer, 6 Fenimore Avenue, Garden City, NY 11530.

The deadline for submission of applications is Monday, Nov. 18. Interviews with applicants will be scheduled in late November or early December.

The WPOA Nominating Committee, which was established at the September 2013 general meeting, will announce its selection of a western section candidate for village trustee at the Jan. 21, 2014 annual resident electors meeting at Homestead School, 7:30 p.m.

The western section of Garden City is bordered on the north by the Main Line of the LIRR, on the east by the west side of Tanners Pond and Edgemere roads, on the south by Cambridge Avenue and on the west by Jefferson Street. Visit www.gcwpoa.com for more info.
