Developer Domain Companies bought the Carroll Street development site for $47.5 million, Crain's reported.

GOWANUS, NY — A developer who recently bought a multi-million dollar Gowanus warehouse snagged a second piece of property nearby this week, Crain's New York reported.
Domain Companies paid $47.5 million for the 420 Carroll St. property that currently has a 65,000-square-foot industrial building with a plumbing company inside, according to Crain's. The site could hold up to a 130,000-square-foot development.
The deal is the second in the neighborhood Domain Companies recently made before the proposed rezoning of the neighborhood which could let build larger projects than currently allowed.
