Fire Breaks Out In 5th Floor Of Red Hook NYCHA Building: FDNY
About 60 firefighters and EMS are on the scene of a fire that broke out in the fifth floor of one of the Red Hook houses buildings Thursday.

RED HOOK, BROOKLYN — Firefighters were sent to a New York City Housing Authority complex on Thursday afternoon after a fire broke out on the fifth floor of one of the buildings, FDNY officials said.
FDNY was called to the 472 Columbia Street building just after 2:30 p.m. By about 3 p.m., 12 units and 60 firefighters and emergency medical services personnel were at the scene, an FDNY spokesman said.
The fire had broken out on the fifth floor of the six story building. There were no injuries as of 3 p.m.
