Gowanus' Massive '365 Bond' Luxury Development Is Officially Complete

Lighstone said construction on "all indoor and outdoor spaces" has now been wrapped up.

GOWANUS, BROOKLYN — Lightstone, the developer behind luxury Gowanus property 365 Bond, announced this week that the building's construction has officially wrapped, with workers putting the finishing touches on "all amenities," such as the property's "landscaped roof terraces, sundecks, library clubroom with fireplace, and Yoga and spin studios."

365 Bond's other amenities include a kayak dock going into the Gowanus Canal, a "full time lifestyle director to manage all programming, services, and events for the community," and an indoor valet for vehicles.

The luxury development opened in April 2016, Lightstone said, and includes 430 units as well as 40,000 square feet of "amenity space" and 30,000 square feet of "green space." About 80 percent of the building has already been leased, the company said.

Rental units are still available, according to the property's leasing website. The cheapest option currently available is a studio going for $2,382 per month. Available one-bedrooms start at $2,991 per month, two-bedrooms rent for at least $5,215 per month, and two-bedroom "townhomes" can be yours for $6,457 per month.

Last year, the city joined with designers and local environmental activist group the Gowanus Alliance to celebrate the installation of a "sponge park" outside 365 Bond. The park is part of a larger effort to prevent excess storm water from flowing into the Gowanus Canal, and will absorb about a million gallons of rainwater per year, according to estimates.
