Man Found In Gowanus Canal Was Murdered, Police Say
Police will investigate the death of the man found floating on the Gowanus Canal in April as a homicide.

GOWANUS, BROOKLYN — The dead man who was found floating on the Gowanus Canal in April was murdered, police said.
Investigators determined the man who was pulled out of the canal near Nevins Street the morning of April 3 did not die of natural causes, police said.
The man has yet to be identified but police say their investigation is ongoing.
